Same drill as the rest of the body, soda blasted the hood, etch primed and 2k primed. There is a dent I need to take care of in the driver’s side front corner, but this dent is one more thing that actually helped me identify the car, long story I hope to share one day.

Now that all of the body panels are repaired, blasted primed, and have had an initial blocking I will be spraying all of them with the new Spies very high build polyester so I can get the entire body as straight and smooth as possible. My paint supplier has been talking this stuff like crazy so I figured I would give it a try. It’s essentially like skim coating the whole car, the technical manual shows you can build the coating up to 100mils. I don’t need anything that crazy but I do need to clean up what the previous painter did to my metal shell when it was prepped last time.
