Arrow This is what happened to your cars Cali E plates.

When the CHP cars (and any other emergency vehicle) went out of service, the E plates were put in shears and destroyed so no one could use them. When my dad went to the scrap yard where the CHP sent their equipment to get all the CHP stuff he could, he got a bunch of the plates. He got them to look for the plate off the "last equiped CHP caprice" #902080 which he has owned since the CHP sold it. He didnt find them, but he still got all the other plates.
Going through the equipment and console boxes in our barn, I found 3-4 console boxes filled with plates(my dad said that what I found was only a part of what he has). I got them out and took them to his shop to look through. Going through, organizing and finding matches was like a big game
It took hours to find the matches that I found. Some even have pieces of the second plate too. One thing the CHP did was that they put a key to the car behind one of the plates, some of the plates my dad had still had the keys! I cant wait until I find the rest of his plates

The plates I was able to put back together.(Notice 892948. The 88 mustang that was parked near mac88chp's car (pic I posted in Motor T. M.) was 432948 )
