A few of us have talked about this before. This SSP would IMO be a good candidate for an "as-delivered" restoration. By that, I mean it would be returned to the state of condition as it was delivered to the initial buyer. Since it is so difficult to track down the in-service history on the DSO 83 government SSP's, you could make this a fresh MCA quality restoration reflecting a very specific time in the car's history. Being a single-color blue SSP would, for me, be an added plus for this type of restoration (as opposed to restoring a black & white CHP car to "as-delivered" condition).
