Sorry to hear that.
That was turning into a nice car. You live and learn I guess. I totaled my first mustang (89 5.0 GT) within the first week of getting it street legal.
I too slid off a FM road while it was raining and they had just re-blacktopped it during the heat of summer, so it was like driving on a oil slick. It still makes me sick to this day, but I learned to respect fox bodies and how light they are in the rear. It was a bittersweet lesson learned.
