Default I think I've found my 88 GSP unit # ....

I went to put my key to my 88 GSP back on my ring when I noticed some numbers engraved on it. After looking under a magnifying glass it's 8893. What I've been told is the first # is the year 8 for 1988 and the next three is the number car they purchased that year. Only thing that concerns me is that would be 893 cars GSP purchased that year. I've been told GSP purchased 1000 cars this year. So I guess it is possible they ordered that many. So the best I can tell I now have my unit # 8893 :-) ....
