When I bought the car, word of mouth said it came from Troop D, Orlando.

That was in conflict with an official record that showed Troop H was the 1st issued Troop.

Talking with the auction buyer, he said he was the source of that info in that since he bought it at an auction in Orlando, he assumed it was from that troop.

So that puts it back in Troop H.

HOWEVER, it has 3 antenna holes. The most common reason for the 3rd hole (not a clamp on, but a hole) was 800 Mhz radios in South Florida. BUT Troop H did not have 800MHz from 1992 through 1996, when 1396 was in service.

Since then 3 scenarios for the 3rd antenna have been proposed:

1. Troop H was headquarters, and they may have been testing 800 MHz with it.
2. The 3rd hole was for a permanent install of a SO radio.
3. The car was transferred to South Florida for Hurricane Andrew.
