Oh yes i remember finding the strobes and saw some wirings attached to it but couldn't trace it to where it goes, possibly because of mice ate it up as you mentioned, now it makes sense. 15 lbs worth of wiring? thats A LOT!
Did you test the switch panels? Also are you going to keep the strobes in it?

Gregg....you were right about the ignition. When I removed the sun tach to preserve for you since it is from back when you were only 50 years old (1977).....I found the ignition module thingy you were talking about was in pieces. Hopefully I can replace it and then put in some fresh fuel and fire her up ?????
