The Placerville area CHP office is holding a "Cops & Rodders Revival" car show on Saturday, October 10th from 10am - 3pm at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville. This event is a revival of the car show that was held at the CHP Academy in West Sacramento from the mid-80s until the mid-2000s and was the genesis of the Ripon show for restored and current EV vehicles. It's open to all years of cars and trucks including emergency vehicles and benefits the CHP Museum, 11-99 Foundation and the Placerville 245 Squad Club.
It's being held the weekend after the Ripon show so you can attend both!
Entry fee is $35 if postmarked by 9/28, then $45 at the gate day of show. T-Shirts are $6 each and sizes only guaranteed for those orders that accompany pre-registered entries. Dash plaques and goodie bags will go with the first 200 entries and all entries will receive 10 gift raffle tickets. There will be food, music, kids events and vendors.
So far there is no online entry form so you will have to call CHP Placerville Volunteer Bruce Risley at 530-622-1110 to obtain one or get more information.
