Did you see the auctions I posted about? The guy had several of these lights for sale for $19.99.
The light I have has a very generic rearview attached...like the kind you'd find at Autozone or Pep Boys. It justs bolts onto the bracket (not sure if the bracket is the same one that you just received or not). I added pics to the CHP Resto doc if you want to compare the two.
