Default Another show, another win!

People really do like SSPs! I took my 86 GSP SSP to its second show yesterday (biggest all Ford show in MN, put on by Upper Midwest Region of SAAC) and won first place in the 79-96 Mustang Class. There was close to 300 Fords at this show. I was right next to a 69 Shelby Hertz Mustang, once owned (and signed) by Alice Cooper, and much to my surprise I had more people looking at my SSP than the Shelby. I have a small display board in the trunk with a brief history of SSPs and my particular car, as well as a copy of the Ford SSP brochure from 1986 and quite a few people took the time to read it. SSP education in MN is on the rise! Next show will be a small community show and then the Car Craft show in July where it will get a very large national audience.
