The Problem
The Problem......You have a piece of gray cardboard covering the hole where the
CCI controller belongs....... the answer.... mount the CC1 where it belongs without the blue light mod and until you get the correct Micor ....Put that commercial Regency 150MHZ Radio in and talk to your amateur radio friends......what the heck the car already has antennas on it! should get some use out of um |

Looks gret so far! Where did you get the brackets for the CC1 and also the one that will hold the Micor?
Thanks, Matt

Nice Andy. Did you find holes for the CC1 or just fab up a bracket?
Matt, The stock Micor brackets are what you need. They are on Ebay pretty regularly.

Matt Mike
I used a two way radio bracket of un known origin (i have a bunch in my two way parts box) the holes were already in the plastic trim under where the CC1 mounts so all i had to do is sandwich the two brackets one inside on the CC1 looking down and the other under the plastic dash trim looking up. I am sure this is how the original installers mounted these two. CB Radio shops have universal brackets that would work for both the CC1 and the Micor.....Or you could just fab one from a piece of flat stock? also the holes for everything were already drilled so all i had to do is drop the bolts down.....put on the lock washer and nut.....done! |

The Micor head and CC*1 in my car were mounted in the stock radio location using simple "L" brackets which I just duplicated using some flat stock. The original mounting holes on the console were still there to use as a guide. I also fabbed up a simple mounting bracket from flat stock for the scanner and used the holes that were drilled into the floor pan as a guide.
