Ebay Cancels Listing ***Arrrrrrrghhhh!!!!!!!
They cancelled this auction and advised me that this vehicle violated their rules because it could be used to impersonate a police officer. Well I agree, but how many marked units from CA, FL and other states have sold in the past??? I believe someone in NY State made a complaint. Joe

Interesting they cancelled the listing and I'm sorry to hear that happened. I wonder if this will be a trend with Ebay going forward. Really don't see what makes this any different than most other restored SSP's that have been listed.

Here in Texas and many other states, police cars are sold at auctions and all the agency had to do before selling, is remove insignia and equipment. While on patrol I routinely see black and whites with a spotlight which makes you take a second look because small departments and Constables also buy them from DPS auctions.
Have stopped several that were driven by "dopers". We got one of them recently in an old DPS car and arrested him for possession of cocaine and 3 handguns. The doper cars are usually pretty beat up and dirty.
