Question

Nice car, but how can you prove it was the last car "produced" for the FHP? The cars that FHP purchases are not retired in chronological order. It might have been the last marked unit auctioned off but I don't know how you can substantiate your claim of the last one produced. Not that it would make a difference, FHP bought a ton of cars. Good luck with the sale.

No cans necessary.

Rich,

We've discussed this car here before. It's not the last FHP Mustang "produced". It may have been the last marked unit sold at auction, but it's still hard to verify that information. The webmaster at SSPMustang.org put that feature up on the car and it was misleading, which is why he modified it.

Your car looks really nice, and has very low mileage, but most of the emergency equipment is incorrect. You could probably get close to what you're asking for it if you made the necessary equipment changes. There is a comprehensive Resto Document posted at http://www.specialservicemustang.net/FHP.htm if you decide to go that route.

Regardless....good luck with your sale and feel free to post up some pictures of the car.

Rich,

Can you please turn your CAPS LOCK off?

You're right about the lights....my bad. I confused your car with another that was recently listed with a rear TA. The switchbox on yours is incorrect, and the car needs everything else inside (radio, radar, etc) to complete the resto. It wouldn't be hard to finish.

FHP still has a marked Mustang, unit #1993. Yours may have been the last marked one sold at auction, but I'm not sure you'd be able to conclusively prove that it's the "last marked SSP for FHP" to anyone.

Anyhow...again.....good luck with the sale and post up some current pics for your ad when you can. It's a nice car with low mileage.
