1986 New to me TX DPS coupe
I thought I'd start a new thread on my most recent acquisition, another '86 DPS coupe. I've been after this car since 2007, when I missed it by just a couple of days. I knew roughly where it was but never could track it down. Fast forward to just a week ago, when I posted a wanted ad on an obscure facebook group and the owner contacted me. Sure enough, the same car I had tried to buy in 2007.
It doesn't look like much at the moment, but what's neat is that all of the SSP specific items are still intact (speedo, buck tags), and that it was built only 7 units after my previous one that was fully restored (***990 was my old one, this one is ***997). Same blue interior as my old one. Excited to own the car, I'll be taking this one back to full black instead of the two-tone, just so whoever buys it next can easily enjoy it.

Any other pics?
Why all black this time around as opposed to the two tone? |
