Default Correct decal placement and SEM interior tan color.

Hey folks 0559 Is well on its way is there a thread or info on CHP decal placements measurements and SEM interior Tan color?

James, you're welcome to check mine out otherwise, the in-service section has some great pics as well as my 1982 chp pictures thread.

I had my color matched from the backside of interior pieces and reaprayed. Came out perfect. If you need aerosol cans, I've got some info for you.

We applied decals to my car based on photo reference and with a good eye you can get them very close. There were minor variances on the actual cars so don't sweat it down to the n-th degree.

Yes, just look at in-service photos. I had the door decals applied by a shop that does it and they came out fine. The trunk decals are so easy you can do them yourself. There are YouTube videos that talk about how to apply large decals, but the gist of it is to first spray the (clean) surface with water that has a few drops of dish soap in it then apply the decals. The soap water allows you to move the decal around as needed. Then carefully squeegee all of the water and any air bubbles out (carefully) from under the decal.
