1988 Ford Mustang SSP. This car is one of the 34 originally ordered for Oregon State Police by Damerow Ford. 17 of the SSP's went to OSP, 14 were sent to Saleen to be made into Saleen Coupes, this is one of 3 sold to private owners. Now, there are some arguments in the SSP community and differences in opinion as to how many cars were actually ordered. There however seems to be no argument that there were only 3 cars sold to the public. I will however let you do your own research and reach your own conclusions on this debate. Now about this car. She is the tightest best driving fox I have ever driven or rode in hands down. The only reason I am selling because I can't keep it inside and can't bear to see it setting outside. It will remain inside until it sales. I bought a truck from a family member that has sentimental value so I can't keep them both. Wish I could but don't have the room. She has 156,000 on the clock but has been collector owned and maintained. It will also come with original ford regatta blue cloth fabric both textured and smooth enough to everything including door panels as well as the piping. It will also come with 4 NOS wheel centers, Ford Break Out Box, NOS Radio Delete panel, and several books on tuning and modifying the ford roller 302. Everything works as it should and has a retro fitted ac that blow very cold. She has not rust that I can find anywhere and have never been in a accident. She still retains all the vin stickers and is all box stock except a flowmaster cat back exhaust. She even still has the stock cats and plug wires on her. Just recently replaced the rear pinion seal, timing cover, timing chain, waterpump, intake gaskets, and radiator. She also has a new set of Uniroyal Tiger Paw's on her. I drove it from Newport News VA home and got 24.2 mpg last july. If you have any questions please ask. This car is what you see no more no less. It is a transparent car. What you see is what you get. These photos are with the interior dirty. It has been a year since I cleaned it so you can see it with out being touched up. The exterior has just been washed and NOT BUFFED POLISHED OR WAXED.
This car is a amazing survivor and to have been drove and enjoyed and still in this condition is just unheard of.
I will consider your best offer but it means a lot for her to go to a appreciated home.
