I ordered a new set of door seals from 5.0 resto supply and now the doors are a b#%ch to close. you damn near have to slam them. not just that, they leak!! the car needs a new set of door pins and bushings so ill change those and hopefully it will be the difference. doesn't make sense to me. the old ones didn't leak and I'm sure they didn't leak when they were new. unfortunately, I bought the seals over a year ago and have just now opened them so I'm stuck with them!

Please let me know how it works out if you replace the hinges. I have plans of doing this to my TX DPS but am unsure as to whether I want to go aftermarket or factory. Good thing you started this thread... I've been deciding for a while!

I can't speak for others but ill share my 2 cents. I'm gonna go get some factory ones. this setup is terrible on the doors. they are already 20 years old plus, and then to have to slam them everytime you shut them and consider it normal wear and tear? nope.
