Yep, saw that… incredible purchase price if it’s 100% a confirmed legit sale … I mean that car was very well restored as we know it, but it’s a shame that someone removed some of the specific items that used to be with it.

I expect these SSP’s to keep gaining value over the years, not just value for those that are restored to that degree of quality, but even those that are either restored back to in-service driver quality OR even those that are still good driver quality but are work in progress. Fox Mustangs in general have popped in value over the last 5-10 years, more so following the prior “classic” 60’s-70’s Mustang values.

Now I’m not saying all SSP’s are “50kers”, I’m saying they’re worth what someone is willing to pay for a specific example and some will command more or less $ than others, but I think we can all agree they are becoming very rare for those that remain 30+ years later.

Accurate SSP restorations will become more challenging due to increased difficulty in sourcing the correct in-service agency equipment. Regardless, the values of SSP Mustangs will certainly continue to climb.
