Stubes get's all the credit for finding this link on YouTube and posting on .org of a peson doing a "walk-around" of the 1993 SSP still owend by the NCSHP. Since it hasn't hit the postings here yet thought I'd do so now.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Z1LQsNb4XM The person who I bought my 90 NCHSP from repainted mine back to silver & black utilizing this 1993 SSP as the model for paint breaks, measurments, pin stripe reference, etc. My contact with the NCSHP has offered to give me a tour of all the old Trooper cars of various manufacturers/models the NCSHP still owns. I'm going to make that trip to Raleigh this Spring and will take lots of photos (particularly of this Mustang) and some video as well. Maybe I'll be able to score having someone give me a ride in the SSP too. Some interesting info I just learned from a retired District Commander of the NCSHP (who drove an unmarked SSP Mustang in 89)...this 93 SSP has never seen any "road" time for the NCSHP. Basically just a parade and show car for them. If the NCSHP ever uses it outside of Raleigh, NC city limits it has to be trailered. I noticed when the SSP pulled away a truck with a trailer was in front of it out of the parking lot. Also I'm told during a parade a Supervisor has to drive it. I had not heard any of that information previously about this SSP and thought it was pretty interesting. An NCSHP Radio Engineer that has been a resource for me hasn't had too many compliments of the Shop that did the wiring on this 93 NCSHP SSP. The 93's had a little bit of a different equipment setup than the 90's but this car has definately been a good resource on my setup.
