1992 MR8100 Scanner mounting

I had my scanner mounted on the transmission tunnel in front of the passenger seat near the shotgun mount. I did not like it there and had seen a couple of in-service pics with them mounted in front of the shifter......

here is the result. amazing the scanner I found for this car still has the unit number on it..........

actually it did have a unit number on it as it is an original CHP unit (red tag)so I decided to remove it and replace it with my unit number. It turned out pretty nice and I like it much better mounted in this location.
