Apparently it doesn't matter what anyone says, the car is on ebay listed as a GSP\Clayton county car. If it sells I hope the new owner isn't too upset when it doesn't turn out to be legit.

Well, I'll give Mike P. credit for asking the guy TWICE, in two separate threads.

Here's the link to the extremely rare, "undercover", only marked, white, slick-top, GSP ever in-service, unit #119.

Nice plate, too.

Thank you Mike...hopefully it will keep someone from making an unintended mistake buying something they don't want.

I think given he started another thread instead of keeping the original one going pretty much gives us the answer. Figured, though, I better get the same question repeated in his new thread. Maybe it will get answered one day.

You would think someone over there (other than Mike) would have the same questions.

I think most know it is not a true GSP car and just do not bother. Mike asked....and with the lack of response I would say the owner knows the true story... by this point at least. For what he is willing to sell it to a member I do not think the price is too far off. Regular coupes today in solid condition can bring $4-5k easily. The new owner can consider it is a bonus for it to be an SSP and maybe that will spark the research for the correct history on the car.

I don't think so, at least not judging by the amount of "great find", "nice car", and other congratulatory comments.

Bottom line is that the car is being advertised as something that it isn't over there and on eBay, and Mike P. is the only one attempting to point it out.

Again, kudos to Mike.
