Ted, are you sure that the part that you have angled down, doesn't go back behind the bumper and attach to the core support? The way the lights mount, they look as if they are designed to "hang" from a flat surface. So I can't see with that bracket pointed down like that exactly how they would mount on there... Thoughts?

Yes Chris you are correct. There are holes on the radiator support that match with the angled part of the bracket. Sorry for the confusion.

Can someone remove those pics for me because they are not correct.

Awesome Ted! I wonder if those extra holes do line up with the place you've got it bolted to keep it held down to the bumper cover. That would make sense. Does the bracket tie in where the radiator support clamps bolt on?

Thanks Evil.

I put the front bumper back on and verified the mounting holes. The support is bent but they line up. The driver side bracket utilizes the radiator support to bumber cover bracket. The passenger side is not in the correct spot to utilize that bracket so they made their own holes.

Also, you might send a PM to GSPI about the door jam sticker. He has a lot of super-cool detective tricks to figure out what was glued/stuck to something. I bet he has a trick for figuring out the door jamb sticker. Because it was one of those labels, there wouldn't have been adhesive where the letters and number were. So if you can use a UV light, or something like that, there should be a way to see only the adhesive there... and thus the negative for the unit number. Hopefully he chimes in here...

Yes, that is correct. UV lighting helps in identifying problems with adhesives and plastic labels that have been glued over things in a car...which is used in identifying fraudulent labels on ID tags for cars when they are suspected stolen.
