I sent marti report to Bill for vin project because I'm having issues with resizing but Bill is also having compyter issues but says he will have it posted for me asap. The build sheet is under carpet I pulled up edge can see LINA on it but didn't want to pull it up anymore because its got parts stuck to carpet. Was ordered loaded with 5 spd and 3:08 rear also lists the 15" wheels. Black 1c o believe with blue interior and blue pinstripe.
Wow, so cool. I'm glad you ended up with this one, great save. The fact that it's a 5sp car is extremely cool as well, and probably one of the only non-texas cars in that color combo. Can't wait to see more!

Nice save John on a super rare car. I "bet" they ordered the cars all black and put the silver on them in house. does the car have screw holes in the rear quarterpanels at the decklid seam where the antennas would have been mounted?

Thanks Jim, no it had 3 antenna's but all were set screw type on trunk lid I will put up picts on fotki later heading into Boston to see parents with the baby. I was wondering same about the silver. Either way it might go 2 tone.

We talked about this before and it's probably buried in a thread here...someone bought one back in the day from them and it was 2-tone, but it was a non-special paint car. I remember seeing one somewhere that was a factory 2-tone, so maybe they ordered both ways over the years?

Congrats on your purchase, John. (and your other addition!)
