Sweet SSP, but too much money in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love the car, I just think it will be difficult to sell it for your asking price. All about finding the right buyer I guess. I'd have to convert it to a 5 speed...autos just don't do anything for me.

Default Pair?????

The pics look great! Wish you were a little closer...I would like to see it. Is this all original paint or did this car get a repaint? What all did you do to invest 20 in the car? You have a second car as well?

Thanks, Greg

Default $20k

I bought the car for $5500 needing paint and all the typical exterior body parts that get sun damaged. It had been repainted once with a MAACO type paint job. I had the entire car block sanded by hand to remove every spec of paint down to the factory clearcoat finish. The car was refinished using PPG Deltron paint with a high solids clearcoat. Removing all the trim, bumper covers, 1/4 glass etc., stripping to the original paint and having the high quality paint job applied and buffed was in excess of 120 labor hours @ $60 per hour = $7,200 labor, $2,500 for paint and materials = $9,700. Now we are up to $15,200 ! NOS trim parts were used on the exterior, all the front lamps, drip rail and belt moldings, badging and name plates, windshield and the Carlite 1/4 glass ! Brand new Ford Racing 3:73 axle, 5 lug conversion, new CVPI wheels, center caps, and tires, new 01 Bullitt shocks, struts and springs from PPI. There is more but I'll stop there, adding the money spent on this car is discouraging !!! The work was completed in a high end body shop that specializes in European cars, their work is second to none. This isn't a beat up, hammered, and abused SSP Mustang, but a quality show car.

Yes, I have two of them this one is VIN 617, and I have 614 as well. Just too many cars. I have a 1990 never in service NY SSP that has just 20k miles and a 1985 5.0 5 speed coupe as well.
