Officer Charles (Chuck) McGuire with Bruce Adama at Edwards AFB. This is the same event that Officer Daniel Cameron provided two photos from (posted previously).

Our 5th confirmed totaled unit along with 0202, 0205, 0391, and 0269. First hand accounts have provided some staggering estimates of how many of the '82's actually made it out of service.

Trying to get caught up. I was fortunate to have the executor of the late Officer John Rolfes' estate provide me with numerous photos of the crash of 0391 as well as an article. The pictures are on the small side.

That is amazing. With the fuel tank located under the trunk it is remarkable it wasn't ignited and that Mustang turned into a tiki torch.
