Great pictures, Ryan! Even though they're not 'in-service', they still show a part of your car's past.

Assignment cards showed up today from Robert via Bill. Thank you Bill for your work on getting this coordinated!
Looks like my car was replaced in 1988 by E423041 - which happens to be 6 numbers off of Michael's (Mac88CHP). Pretty cool, hmmmm?

Ryan, I really enjoyed speaking with you this evening! Your car has SO much documentation with it, and I'm glad that you finally received your card. As we discussed, I think you should ask Robert about the "R" next to the slicktop symbol under Equipment. Maybe your car also had a CB radio?

But note that the 42xxxx plates came on the '87s which is what replaced your car. My '88 was wearing 433035. |

Oops....looks like I need to pay closer attention. I just assumed that being it was retired in 88, that an 88 had replaced it. Then again, I should know better as my 85 didn't go into service until 5/86.
