Thought it was time to post some photos of our SSP restoration progress.
Trunk pan and rear panel were shot, best way to go was a replacement. New well being test fitted. Replacement fender flairs being prepped and tested. Playing around with the engine and k frame. Thanks, Mike |

Wow, this is great! Any before shots? Is this a race car that's being taken back to original? Absolutely love saves like these

Yes it was raced for a number of years in Texas and AZ by the same deputy. I posted some photos in the WELCOME forum under "Re-introduction". It is going to be a lot of work but it's all fun. Here are a couple more photos. Here it is in the second color for Bastrop County Texas. And how it looked marked for Maricopa S.O when I drove it off the trailer. |

Belly UP
I think I've gone "belly up" on this restoration.

if you use a rotisserie just one time......you will ask yourself how you ever restored a car without one. Same with a lift, and a dedicated paint booth....and a blasting cabinet big enough for a fender.......and a high pressure parts washing cabinet......lol
That is some serious metal work you are doing for sure. I am very glad to see it getting saved.

Jim is right - every project is an excuse to buy a new tool!
