It is worth the extra time and money to buy the correct material to do the seats. I will say the it's going to be the 2nd most expensive cost on a resto of the car.

The thought has crossed my mind. We'll see how things go after my shoulder surgery in Dec. Getting old puts up obstacles to the hobby.

Correct on both counts! If you're aiming for a nice restoration, you cannot skimp on the upholstery, period.

You are right Jim, I was charged $750.00 to upholster my 92, Plus the material I had to order.
But well worth it !
