The TX DPS car is headed to Kansas to have a full repaint done in mid-march. Whole car back to black/white, engine bay, jambs, trunk, etc. I've got most of a blue interior tracked down now, so when it gets back I need to finish finding the rest of the interior, get everything installed, and track down a motor for it. I've got a transmission and everything else it needs now. I'll definitely keep everyone posted with the progress!

It was definitely sad to see it go, but she's in good hands and that's what matters! The car ran great though and served me well for the last few months while I got some other things lined up.

A local guy out of San Antonio. Saw the ad, saw the postings on the SSP boards and wants to restore the car back to it's DARE livery. He's got someone lined up for body/paint already, and is going to have the decals reproduced. He coaches some younger girl's sports teams, and thinks it will be a good anti-drug promo tool as well
