Bobby and Gregg,

congrats on not only doing a great job on the car, but for the positive effect it will obviously have for other SSP enthusiasts in the future. A project like this is the type of event that will go a long way to reinforce the image we want to portray. I know it was alot of hard work with many people contributing. Thanks go to everyone that contributed but especially to the two of you for taking on the project and representing us all.

Thanks for the kind words Jim,
To quote both Lt Don Stultz and Fleet Manager Jim Bigler " You guys have made the blue and gray (the GSP) very proud." The Colonel and Lt Colonel were admiring the car when we left... Our goal was to hopefully put the negative images from YouTube and the past out of their minds and instill a new positive more professional one there. It sickens me when I goggle GSP Mustang (as I often do) and that video comes up with who ever it is is hanging out the window of a fully marked GSP with a beer in hand acting like he was. Not a positive image for our hobby...

Anyway I hope more good things happen and let's try to avoid the not so good. It is and has always been about the cars... So let's focus on the cars

I can't wait until Savannah !!!

One of many that I have seen over the past 18 years that I have been involved with these cars. The truth of the matter is that if someone in a marked police car acts like an idiot, it not only reflects poorly on emergency vehicle hobbyists but also law enforcement as a whole. Like with most situations it only takes one "oh s**t to screw up 10 attaboys. Hopefully the "91 project" will keep the good ju-ju around for awhile.

Thanks Jim, it has been a great honor and delight to be involved with this project. The GSP folks were so appreciative and wanted that message conveyed to all who supported this effort. Without that support this project would still be setting outside under a tree with four flat tires. My personal thanks go out to everyone that helped on this one.

The internal contest of who is first to get the car for display is underway. It's almost like five or six kids with a new special toy.
All the troopers we saw realize this car is a tangible piece of the GSP history and they just can't wait to share it at every opportunity.

P.S. They still wont let me take it to the drag strip.
