Default 83 coupe

I spoke with the owner and he said he cut out a hole in the trunk for a fuel cell about 12 by 12,cause he was racing it at one time,can I repair that??

Rear floor pan/spare tire well can be replaced from another car.

Given the white paint, it could be an Arizona DPS car, with a VIN close to this one -

...or it could be a repainted Texas DPS car that migrated West. Here is an example of an 83 TxDPS car in our Project -

You do not see 83 SSP Mustangs come up for sale all too often. Although the car now has a rollcage, it doesn't look too far gone to be rescued.

Did the seller ever confirm the last 6 of the VIN? I see you rec'd at least add'l photo. Any chance he sent you a picture of the VIN label? He did not reply to my text about it...
