Haiti relief is over 78 million now including the ongoing telethon. It's always good to help others out and the red cross does a pretty good job with the $$$ they receive.

Default Barrett Jackson

I was at the auction for 3 days. A few deals but mostly pure price insanity. The experience was fantastic, but restraint and common sense were not very common there when people were bidding

Barry - I'd like to make it out there myself one of these years just to experience the event, not to buy any cars. A co-worker went on vacation in Vegas when BJ hosted their first event there a couple years ago. He said it was quite the spectacle.

Default Three Years Later

It's that time again. Have friends coming in for the Auction
and we Will see people that i usually only see at the Auction
Been to every one since 1975 and it never gets old. Always good
It's gotten different in recent years. I now seen Allot a cars
being sent out of the US never to be seen again. I guess if we
visited the places they were sent to...we would get a chance to
see um again. But wait! If we are lucky enough these off shore types
will start buying up more of our Land here in America.....And
Maybe they will bring back some of our cars. After all they are
gonna have get around. They will need something to drive.
They may even let us wash and wax them once in awhile?

I understand helping out, BUT will all of those MILLIONS the Red Cross is getting going to ACTUALLY go TO the victims this time ? I have little faith it will.
Or in the pockets of the CEO's as S.O.P. ???

Not turning my back on helping people in need, but I'd much rather give to many others, rather than the red cross.

They proved to be dishonest and care more about how much $$$ is going in THEIR pockets rather than actually helping the ones in need.

They proved that to all of us in 9-11. Never forget.

Hey Andy! Hope you have a great time at BJ this year. Take pics of anything of interest.
