Sure thing, I'll get it later this week.
I call it a tag, but it was actually a thick plastic sticker made with one of these:

Swis, the previous owner said it was there when he got it, it says "Stall 1" or "Stall 3."
Anyone ever heard of this? It's stuck on the instrument cluster, near the top (or the bottom, can't quite remember) between the tach and the speedo.

Thanks, Sal, I appreciate it, brotha! I sure wish I could get more info on the car's past. Maybe someday I will. I know I asked Robert about assignment cards and he didn't have them. Super bummed about that, but maybe someday I'll run into someone who remembers car number 9186!

A couple of examples of original in-service date labels:

Some offices also put labels on the dash to indicate parking lot assignments.

Thanks for posting that! I have one of those too! Though mine might be on the inside of the door. Sorry, can't remember, the car has been parked for far too long! But I'll take a pic this weekend!

Right, on the aero cars they have been found there and also on the left side of the dash facing the door:

Sorry for the less that stellar photos, but I'll get some better ones in the sunlight when the car is moving under its own power soon.

Here's a pic of the instrument cluster that says "Stall 3." Has anyone else seen this? Was one department known for this? If so, maybe that would help me decipher where my car was in service?

Here's the in-service date Dymo sticker on the inside of the driver's door, which has been painted over. Below that you can see the faint "9186," my unit number, also painted over!

You can see where my label used to be. I might have to remake it. Not sure of my car's in service date though.
