I believe I posted another photo of this unit. I recently got the story behind it and another picture of the car. Officer Richard Palma out of Monterey was rear ended by an elderly woman during a traffic stop near Castroville. Unknown unit number.

Thanks for the plethora of great photos. I've missed out on this thread but man, there's still some great info out there. Facebook has really been helpful for SSP history.

From what I understand, the Officer was not in the car at the time of the crash.

And yes, there's tons of great pics still out there. Some luck, some digging!

Officer Tom Wise in the Red Bluff area. Served in Bakersfield as well.
