Your SSP is interesting. It clearly was not ordered for the CHP to be a patrol vehicle, so I wonder what State agency used it? This car would be a good one to order a Deluxe Marti Report on to get as much dealer info and other nuggets as possible. The legal owner could also request a Registration History Report from California DMV to see who the first owner was.

Thanks for the welcome. As i told Ted i know very little about ssp's and i really dont have the interest in them as alot of you do. I got the car from my friend that had to get rid of it cause his sister lost her house. (He bought it from someone else) He was gonna let it go to the crusher. I couldnt see it going to the scrap yard. He had no where to keep it. So i picked it up with the intensions of turning it into a another drag car. Then my friend said he had that copy of the build sheet and said it was a SSP. I know how people love these things so i decieded to build it. Was going to with a resto build on it and turn it back into what it was. But i just dont have the time with all the other stuff im doing to do it. Thats why it went up for sale. I wanted to go to someonet that would do it justice.
I had another friend run the vin for me and he said there wasnt much history on it. So i all i have to go off of is the pic of the build sheet that you guys seen. Vins Match. This is what i got from my buddy when he ran the vin. Quote:

In one of the pics you posted @ CIE I saw the door tag on the driver-side door. Can you post a pic of that door tag? Thanks.

I also sent this to Ted. This is the only tag on the drivers door. There also is no tag behind the drivers headlight.

Thanks for posting the door tag. It looks like the TR code is TTTXX. Is that correct?

If the first rear spring code is X the second one is as well. The rear spring codes on the build sheet are the same (GACGAC).
