"SSP Mustang history re-writers"?
Anyone know where we can find some of these "re-writers"? This month's MCA magazine has the following printed (sorry for the poor quality):

It looks like an ad that was written by the company.

I wonder if next week there will be another ad that reads "thanks to all who participated in this sale event" ? However nobody will know anyone that actually bought anything. I think I did see some of those really cool 5.0 "interceptor" fender emblems at my local flea market. This is from a guy that has a shelf full of parts he won't sell to people.....so people do the next best thing and improvise or make their own parts...Like the center caps Bernie made out of escort caps. I guess that is the "close to, or alternative" comment. My best advice....let his parts rot on the shelf and then when REAL hobbyists like FMR reman a good part, like the one key lock sets, buy from them.
same game.......just a different year.

Exactly. I think that the VASCAR speedo cable discussion here would apply as well.
I'm not sure if the ad was taking shots at either website directly, but the wording sure could have been better.

Oh yeah....I forgot all about that thread. If I remember correctly you were able to cross reference some part numbers and come up with a PERFECT replacement for the cables. I guess a little ingenuity makes us "re-writers".
Bottom line is that WE are all here to help each other restore our cars. Others, who are not members continue to lurk in the distance and spout off. I say we continue to ignore it and recognize it as insignificant. We are all better served.
