Default 1989 SSP in Austin area

http://austin.craigslist.org/car/281333526.html

1989 Mustang SSP. Former City of Saginaw, Texas unmarked patrol unit. (have papers from the City) Purchased car about a year ago with intention of full restoration. Schedule and wife think otherwise. Car is running and has current tags & inspection. Some body panels need adjustment and slight body work needed. Exhaust system has new Mac Cat Back system installed last summer. Wheels in pictures are not on the car now. It has stock 10 hole wheels in alum. It will need paint. The interior is in decent shape. I have replaced several items inside the car. The buck tags are still attached.

Auto Trans
373 gears
GT 40P heads
Edelbrock performer upper intake

Driver's side spotlight

Any additional questions, please call me @ 512-917-0908

All CHP Mustangs were 5-speeds.

This car was sold here in Victoria, Texas by the same people that David Philipoksi (sp) from PA got the 1993 Texas DPS car that kept getting pulled off eBay for lights and other stupid stuff. Those guys were also in a huge amount of trouble by Texas Department of Public Safety for doing stupid stuff and they are sure glad the car is now in another state.

That's what i thought but in standing next to the drivers door I noticed
two thing's one the driver was handicapped and using hand controls.. two the
A pillar had bad body work patch work where the SPOT lights would have
been at one time..... the driver said the car was for sale and I asked
him to pop the hood and i DID SEE the CHP tags also. public Vin matched the door
tag because any difference in numbers would have made this a car of no interest to
me. Also the paint chips on the car and the area's that could be seen in the jams
indicated that the car was Black n White at one time. I was not in the market for
another project and was curious (at that time) about the car. so I called a well
respected and knowledgeable SSP collector and was told by this person that YES
auto CHP SSP Cars do exist and I was told to BUY IT but i did not.Looking back
Now I know I should have....... I have learned to Never say Never Also I know
what i had seen.and what i have been told by this SSPMustang collector!
