Colorado State Police... "winning"
I woke up today to an email from Major Barry Bratt with CSP. He wanted to let me know that the CSPPA ( Trooper Association ) is trying to raise money and one of their methods is selling retired CSP license plates.
When I called I was unable to buy my plates # 10-0237 for my car. However I was able to buy 2 license plates for another car. They are used but in very good condition. I guess they were returned after the car was retired. The plates I bought were for a 1983 CSP mustang. car #202 plate number 10-0202...... imagine being able to find and buy the original plates for a car that was in service 28 years ago. That is pretty awesome. Hats off to the CSP. Once again they have stepped up and done a good thing for us "car guys". Now I just need to find out who I need to send these plates to. Anybody have any idea???? I think it was this car.....
