Needs alot of work according to owner......even though it looks good. He states it needs feder aprons, rad support and bumper cover, along with "clutch work" whatever that means.

Owner said the clutch is completely shot. Will go into gear with some minimal grinding but moves. Needs complete rebuild, throwout bearing, pressure plates, etc. Pedal goes to the floor.

Says the car was smacked hard in the front - core support is bent, inner fender aprons are bent in front of the shock towers. Fenders are hung straight, but the front nose is not riveted in place.

Interior door panels have been hacked for speakers at some point.

Some rust in the trunk area where the spare is - likely surface rust - not through from what I can see in pics.

Owner states the car has sat for the last 6 years or so. He bought it from the house where it sat. He was going to mod it up, but found a nicer coupe (non SSP) to work with. Hence selling this one.

Seller also stated the front nose needs to be replaced. Said someone took a grinder to the front - the texture on the clip is toast - and the pieces between the headlights are gone. Surface rust on the door frames and window frames from sitting. Headliner is shot. Front seats have been well worn.

Car has no buck tags. DSO tag on the driver door is hard to read from what I was told.

Hope this helps. If I didn't have 4 SSPs already - I'd consider this one. Sometimes ya gotta know when to walk away. My wife says I am a car hoarder.

I had some good hiding places, but my wife found them all. Out of places to stash things. And, if I want to keep the 4 SSPs and the B4C - I have to play nicely.

I just remind her.....you knew what you were getting yourself into! Hopefully getting an 86 turbo coupe this weekend, stripping it and putting the motor in my 91 2.3 hatch...that should wake it up a bit. Just tell her....doing a few mechanical repairs dear....don't worry about it! ...lol

Was up in Arlington yesterday for something else, and ended up going to see this car for fun to shoot pics if anyone was interested in it.

The car has not been licensed since 2000-ish. As mentioned above, it will need a full resto. I did not personally drive it, but am told it drives ok. Car fired right up when I was there and sounded great.

Buck tags were missing/not available (that I could see), but the door sticker shows the 74 DSO code for Seattle. Mounting holes on the interior and exterior are no doubt WSP.

Interior is rough, paint is rough, and about everything needs a refresh. Dash pad was nice, but had a crack. Trunk has a leak and had water in it. Under side looked to be in decent shape. Clutch is shot.

129 photos that I shot are at:
http://i1090.photobucket.com/albums/...ix/86-WSP-SSP/

Seller's name is Dennis (nice guy) and his e-mail is: djy511@wavecable.com

He wants $2K for the car. Says it has a clear title.

Some pics:

CUN 197813

It's within a batch of 30 consecutive P26M VINs...197796 through 197825.
