First off, welcome to the forum!
 There is an 82 CHP Mustang (1 of 394 SSP coupes produced that year) for sale in California, which was listed on Four Eyed Pride: http://www.vb.foureyedpride.com/showthread.php?t=136814 As stated in that thread, the seller claims the car is CHP Unit E870544, and has a VIN ending in 213409, which is part of the known batch of 82 CHP Mustangs. Some of the regulars will remember this car as an all-white car with a maroon 85/86 front-end. The seller says the car runs great. I never got his name, but his phone number is 916-410-6269.
