Carfax
Anyone here have Carfax that could run a couple SSP vins for me? Trying to find out why my 88 CHP has the same unit # as an 87 CHP in the registry. Hoping Carfax will shed some light. 88 - 1FABP40E3JF221412 & 87 - 1FABP40E3HF184806. Thanks, Doug

Thanks very much for your help Brian. Hopefully some day I can do something for you. The last 6 digits of the 87 Vin I got from the registry, I used the H for the year, and assumed the rest of the Vin would be the same as my 88. I'm going to check my parts cars today and see if they changed something in the Vin from 87 to 88. Thanks again, Doug

The check digit is probably different. 9th digit.
