Default 91 AM/FM Radio

Anyone have a nice AM/FM radio for sale correct for a 91? The display on mine doesn't work.
Thanks
Gary

It's probably just a bulb. There is a place in Jacksonville, FL, that rebuilds OE Ford radios, and will do so for you, if you are interested in going that route. You'll get back what looks like a brand-new radio (new faceplate, buttons, etc). I used them for an AM/FM/CD player for my '93 (the one-year only option), and they do nice work.

Does the other illumination features work on it? If part or all is dim, it may just need a bulb. If I remember correctly the old Crown Vic cop cars had the same type display and sometimes the bulb hat illuminates it would go bad. ...

If this is the display buld then all you have to do is get some tooth floss and feed it around the knobs a few times and then gently pull them off. once that is done remoce the little screws that hold the face plate on and then the bulb is right there. I have done this at least a 100 times.

You can get the bulb down at autozone or whatever parts house you have there.

Good luck.

Techni-car does EXCELLENT work. My 95 Z28 had the Bose CD palyer. It started to click on and off-sent it to Techni car and they found a cracked circuit board. Worked perfectly another 3 years and was good when I sold the car.
