Too bad there aren't any pics.

Were any of the 1979 V8 Pace Cars stick shifts? All the ones I've seen are autos. There's a BEAUTIFUL one for sale on FEP in PA for a fair price (i.e. it would be impossible to restore one for what he's asking). But it too is an automatic.

I think there are a few stick shifts, they are more rare. There was a 1979 Mustang Indy Pace Car 4cyl. that was a stick shift, it only had 105 documented miles! It was for sale somewhere but it sold.

I know of another '79 Pace car for sale in Milford, MI. It's sitting on a dealers lot. I didn't stop by to look as it was night. Maybe next time, if it's still there.

1979 Ford Mustang V-8 Official Indy Pace car FOR SALE
This car runs perfect. interior and paint needs resto. All parts listed below are barely used. They were put on the car brand new and never driven car has been sitting. Just needs alignment and some brake bleeding to be road worthy. non-op, no fees, clean title, needs a smog to register it. All smog parts are on car and it should pass. Below is a list of parts that are on the car. I know I left some stuff out. This is the ultimate fox body parts car selling for $1600 firm email for my number.
