TOO LONG but Jarhed's on the money on the length of time it's been locked up. If i didn't have to put it together I wouldn't mind too much, But after the car finally gets home I have to assemble the entire car.

The bad thing about most body shops, is all they want is insurance wrecks. So they can quote as much as they can and let the insurance pay for it. The customer don't care. |

Well duh, "paint" jail is the subject...that's maddening too!
My car only served a six month sentence, just about what the shop owner predicted. I think it helped that I visited the place about 3 times a week to check on the progress. |

Yikes! Now I'm scared (and will stay very close to the shop). My 93 MSHP SSP is headed to the paint shop tomorrow for conversion back to it's original all white color. I'm told 8 weeks for the job. You're right about the shops not really wanting to do this kind of work. From what I can tell they can (and will) charge more for this kind of work because they really don't want to do it and if you choose to it's at least going to make it worth their time and energy.
