It really boils down to the market.....what car it is and who wants it. In reality if you really really wanted a NY SSP then your choices are fairly limited. I've paid a lot for parts before simply because I needed or wanted them....too much I've thought at times but sometimes if you want it and the supply is limited you don't have much choice.

Most of us personally wouldn't have paid that for the car(I know I wouldn't) but if someone grew up in NY and just had to have one of those cars it's not like he can just pick up an auto trader and buy one.

I am done buying cars...at least for the time being.

I'm almost done buying the parts I need for all of them, and now the real work begins (s-l-o-w-l-y).
