Default Help needed! 1985 Harness Needed...

I am at a standstill on my 1985 CHP restoration...

After many hours of trial and error, I finally had an electronics/wiring expert come over to help me try to power up #8302... What he determined is that the "new" replacement harness that I was given with the car is NOT a 1985 main engine harness...

I am at a loss and have run low on options of where to find a good used harness for this car.

Can anyone out there help me obtain one of these harnesses, or point me in the right direction?

Any help is most appreciated.

Tim

Owners of classic Mustangs also face similar issues with the harnesses in their cars. Here's an outfit that restores harnesses for older Mustangs -

www.midlife66.com/harnesses/

They MAY be able to help you with your 85, or point you in the right direction.

Bill, thank you for your suggestion. I contacted the company and the man responded that he only does harnesses from 1964 1/2 to 1979.

I will contact the other lead tomorrow!
