I'd heard that there was an episode with an '82, but hadn't been able to find it. Interesting steering wheel on that car....I'm sure there's a story behind it.

Finally!!! It was posted here that there was a great scene in that episode but it's never been released on DVD or uploaded to YouTube. Below are pics posted in the original thread from an episode that aired in '83. There were two scenes showing '82 SSP's fresh off the truck. My guess on the steering wheel would be some sort of quick release due to the stunt driving.

I bought a brand new 1980 Mustang (2.3 Turbo Hatch) and it had the same steering wheel. The steering wheel is stock.
