Default 1988 Nevada HP SSP on Ebay

Not mine -

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1988-Ford-Mu...25.m3641.l6368

I think this one has been posted before, because I kinda remember the one photo of the car next to an 1970-ish full size Ford pickup. The VIN is JF272124, which does not have any SSPs confirmed in that batch of 15 consecutive VINs. I asked the seller for photos to see if we can confirm it as a SSP Mustang.

No photos from the seller, but in his message to me he thinks it was a Nevada SSP. I've asked him again to look for the Buck Tags.

Not sure; it may have some damage on the passenger quarter panel.

I hope to have the sellers email/phone number soon. He said he will send me a photo of the Buck Tag(s). He said the one tag says NEVADA and DSO 72-0074. Interesting! I will post up the pic when I receive it.

Pic attached. It's hard to see, but you can sorta make out the letters NEV on the one tag. Seller says the tag reads NEVADA and that the car was painted blue originally.

The seller said it is OK for me to pass along his cell number to any interested potential buyers. Contact me by PM if you would like his number.

I let the seller know about this thread. From the seller -

Quote:
You can let them know there was never any damage on quarter panel, was a few dents on the roof, fender and door

OK I stopped by the owner of this SSP's house this evening. Just a few miles from me.
I have pictures, all info from the car. At one point he had the build sheet on the car, but can not find it any more.

It IS a Nevada HP car. Buck tags say so, still has the NHP blue paint on the interior in places that do not have thick black primer on it.
Has spot light holes in that A pillars still. you can see where the rear antenna was on the left top quarter panel. Bondo is cracking there.

Nice guy that owns it. He wants to part with it. It's a ricky racer car, he knows it, but he says you should have seen it when he purchased that car.
So he has actually tried to make it a daily driver, it was bad when he bought it. So do not hold that against him !! He did not thrash the car. The previous owner did that.

Needs a lot of interior work. But appeared pretty straight car ! Body is good and straight.
So anyone wants pictures, let me know.
Mine are too large for this attachment.

I am sending Bill ( 28hopup ) the info for the log or file on these cars.
He will have everything as well.

I am busy moving, so if I am slow at returning info, that is why. Give me some time to get back to you
Thanks
John
