Thanks man, I can't wait to find more info either! I found this car kinda on accident. I was looking for a coupe to modify the way I wanted, and I'll be damned if I didn't find another ssp lol. I suppose that's a good predicament to be in . I'm gonna do both of these cars justice and restore them to in service condition. I have a good lead on a 79 tangerine v8 coupe so hopefully I can turn it into the hot rod I want and start to build the ssp's.

Nice... I know about wanting these cars original service condition.... as I hope to do with mine in time... I hope you find your street car soon...ive had my share of cars kinda fall upon my lap as well... so I feel you there..

Yeah, I bought the 83 sight unseen and figured for $400 I couldn't go wrong. I'm glad I called the guy because it was on its way to the crusher. He had allready struck a deal with a scrapper, I gave him a hundred more bucks than that guy offered and he was willing to wait on the wire transfer for the money. I had to deal with his elderly parents when we went to pick it up. His dad said "I reckon you'uns ain't got much sense up there". He thought I overpaid for the car lol.
