Default 22nd Annual Ripon EV Show-10/6/12

The 22nd Annual Menlo Park/Ripon Police Emergency Vehicle Show and Law Enforcement Recruitment Fair will take place on Saturday, October 6th from 8am to 3pm at the Community Center in Ripon, CA. This event features some of the finest police and emergency vehicles and equipment in the West and is one of the major national shows of this type. There will be a cruise on Friday evening, October 5th for the early arrivals in addition to an awesome Code 3 parade thru the heart of Ripon at 1pm on Saturday.

There are show classes for in-service, restored, replica and daily driven emergency vehicles of all types including law enforcement, fire and medical, military, security and tow trucks. Depending on availability, police/fire/medical helicopters are also frequent visitors to the day's events. Lots and lots to see and watch in action...better yet, BRING a vehicle to enter in the show and really enjoy the whole experience!

See the show website below for entry form and more information:

I hear you Mike, maybe one year we can caravan and take a couple of east coast cars out there to share the fun.

Thanks for the invite Michael.

The organizers report a record 100 vehicles pre-registered as of yesterday with many more to register day of show.

Pre-registered Mustangs include:

1988 CHP
1988 USAF U-2
1989 CHP
1990 NHP
1992 CHP

Other possible day of show registered Mustangs could include:

1984 CHP
1985 CHP
1986 CHP
1989 CHP (SMPV)
1992 CHP
1993 CHP
1993 CHP

The weather will be cooling down nicely for the weekend and I'll be rolling into Ripon in time for the Friday cruise. See everyone there and for those still on the fence about attendance, just come on out-you won't regret it!

Woo! Made it to Ripon!
Had a couple close calls with Californian drivers on the way down, and I must say, 70-80 up the mountain passes was fun
John looks to be already having a blast

Michael, Thank you again for taking the time to come up the plan to enter my ADAM- 12 Car that was stuck on the trailer due to last minute electrical problems entered into the show. You and your wife are wonderfull people. This is our seventh year attending the Ripon event and 2012 was the first time the ADAM-12 car came out of my shop and into the public. My wife and myself had a wonderfull time and got to meet John with his Mustang along with Robert Reed. We are looking forward to bringing out the 82 Mustang Unit 0204 to the Morro Bay Show in April 2013. Once again Thank you.

Eric and Sheryl.

Hello everyone. I made it to the show but I didn't bring my 89 NHP. The main reason was because I couldn't drive it. I could have put it on my trailer.... but really what fun would that be? I think the clutch is going by the way side because it is hard to get the tranny into 1st and reverse. Also the condition it is in is far from what I saw all of yours looking like. I know I know people like to see the stages of a restoration. I promise I'll bring it next year. So for the people that did see me I was the guy lurking around right before you all took off for the Saturday afternoon cruise. I saw mac88chp get his car jumped by the Air Force SSP. I took some pics but they all are very similar to Mustangkids pics. Anyways, all the SSP's looked great. I was surprised to see the 90 NHP sitting there. What a beautiful car. I took multiple pics of the radio gear inside that car. I need to begin collecting radio stuff for my NHP. Good showing by the Mustangs!!!
